​10 years ago, heck, even 5 years ago cell phones were still evolving. Back then you likely had a simple design, but now that phones are virtually mini computers it is only natural that the tarot world took notice and began to use that. Here are some of my favorite tarot apps:

​Now I know what some of you are saying - that a digital deck is not anywhere near as good as a physical deck. There I am afraid I have to disagree. If you focus on the question at hand, and then draw your cards (which you can shuffle) you interpret them the same as if they are physical cards in your hands. Where I find them the most useful is in being able to fire off a quick pic of a card to a client. For the most part I always have the physical deck and the matching app, and it is really handy if a client asks me after a reading to see the card again. I can pull up the app and send a screenshot. No more having to dig my camera out, set it up, take out the card, transfer the file, crop, email, etc... So much easier! There is also one more benefit that gets overlooked a lot: previewing a deck. Now sure, you can google the deck and see pictures, but the app allows you to also see what the creator wrote about these cards and sometimes that is just as important. I would rather pay $4 for a digital deck and find out that I hate it then to go to the store and spend $25 on the deck.
