Imagine that you are browsing for a new tarot reader and you come across Tucumcari Tarot. What do you find the most helpful? Learn why your reviews are so important. I know I used myself as an example above, but in reality this applies to any tarot reader, psychic, medium... So imagine that you log on to a reader's website and this is the first review that you see: "Exactly what a reading should be! I am so glad that I contacted Matilda because she sure knew what she was talking about. She said everything that I needed to hear, but she didn't judge me at all. Her style was really compassionate, it felt like we were old friends. If you want to laugh, cry and learn something about yourself be sure to contact Matilda" This is an example of a really good review. When you are looking for a reader there is no way to tell how you will connect to them if there is no positive background information about them. Who better to give you that info then people who have had a reading with this person? This is why it is so important - regardless of if it's good or bad - to leave a review. It's the easiest way to help both the reader and the community. Are your reviews helping or hurting?Leaving feedback on a product, service or experience is more important then it was even 5-10 years ago. We have come to trust online reviews more and more - how many times have you checked Yelp before visiting a restaurant? Checked Trip Advisor before booking that vacation? Maybe you've even googled a doctor or lawyer before visiting their offices. Since we depend on other's reviews and ratings to make our choices it should be no different to check a tarot reader out and read their reviews. For many people, a tarot reading can lead to some really life changing choices, which makes it even more important to have reviews. But how do you know the difference between a good review and a bad one? Let's explore that a bit. How do you write a good review ?Think about why you are taking the time to write a review. We all have different experiences with a reader, and no reader is right for everyone. Say that you didn't have a good reading with Matilda. Does that mean that no one will? Not really. So when writing your review be honest and explain. Instead of simply writing "Matilda was horrible" you might write I had a reading with Matilda and my experience was a bit mixed. She was totally on point when we talked about my ex boyfriend. She was able to give really sound advice and things I could do right then to change things. But when it came to connecting to a loved one that had passed she was was able to give me some guidance on grieving, but she couldn't connect with that loved one for me, so I was pretty disappointed" The review gives some great information. From this we know that she is good at relationship advice, and at giving you actionable things to help with the situation. And while she was OK with loss and grieving she cannot channel people who have passed on (which is a whole other discussion) Now imagine that you are looking through a reader's reviews. When you come across "Matilda was horrible - nothing she said was right" - how do you know what the context was? Was she truly wrong, or did she simply say something that the person didn't want to believe? Giving that context helps others to know WHY you felt that she was wrong. Furthermore, if her prediction comes true later your opinion of her might change - but the negative review is already there. This applies to positive reviews too! When you go to Amazon to check the reviews for a product which reviews do you give more weight to ? The ones that just say "I loved it" or the ones that explain what they loved and what maybe they didn't. For example it's easy to see which of these reader reviews are more helpful: "OMG, Matilda was so awesome! I'll absolutely be coming back" Remember that others are counting on your reviews to help them to decide if a reader, or even a specific reading is right for them. Each reading option on my site has their own review section. So when you click on a five card reading you get reviews specifically about five card readings. It makes it easy to see if you are going to be satisfied with your reading. When you order a reading you are automatically put into the system to get a review reminder 2 weeks afterwards. I always appreciate when people take the time to fill out the form. And I publish ALL reviews, even the negative ones, so please don't be afraid to be completely honest. Lastly, try to keep it professional! Regardless of how honest and detailed your reading ones that use inappropriate language or unsuitable material are flagged by the system and will not allow me to publish them. I want people to be able to read your thoughts so please keep it clean.
